MEET: FIELD STATION

GIVING SEASON 2023

During the 2023 giving season, we were proud to have Field Station’s support as a matching donor.

We love that one of Field Station’s values is INCLUSION. Community is built into their business model. By providing intentional community spaces, diverse educational programming, gear rentals, and more, FieldStation is committed to providing ample opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.

You can learn more about Field Station from our mini interview with them:

So how do INCLUSIVITY and ADVENTURE go hand in hand?

Adventure is simply better shared!

In order to build a better outdoor community, we must acknowledge that historically, not everyone has been able to equally access the outdoors. Outdoor skills and knowledge for the most part has been and is still passed down within the community. The outdoor community is becoming more diverse, and we can make it more welcoming by creating spaces in which more people can share their experiences and adventures.

How can I make an impact?

YOU can make a difference by being an advocate within your local outdoor community. Inviting new friends out on adventures or sharing your passion and knowledge of the activities you love, are just a couple easy ways we can create community. Remember, we are all ambassadors of a more inclusive and welcoming outdoors.

Companies can do their part too!

Companies like Field Station, a new hospitality company in the outdoor industry, are making waves in creating intentional and more inclusive communities. At FieldStation, community is at the heart of their brand. From diverse educational programming, gear rentals and demo days on site, and more, these are the little things that FieldStation utilizes to foster community.
